In 2016,

God whispered the name BURN : United Baptist New Sprout in the ears of Senior Pastor Neto Sanoli during an afternoon of prayer, and then the prophecy about the ' New Sprout ' from the book of the prophet Isaiah, chapter 11, verse 1 , "For a shoot will spring from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit." The suddenness (translation from Latin for Sprout) gained meaning, and a new stage began. Since then, everything has been sudden , but with deep roots that were generated decades ago, in secret, where they continue to strengthen.

OUR FOUR

PILLARS

  • BIBLE: Everything has to have a doctrinal foundation, nothing is done without the Word and without prayer. (Heb.4:12 ;   I Tim.2:1)

  • UNIT: Faith's effort to live in communion, unity of thought and language. One heart, one soul.(1Co.12:26)

  • RENEW: The search for constant improvement, adequacy, necessary corrections and focus on spiritual, structural and personal advances.(Col.3:1; 1Co.14:1-6; Mt.7:8)

  • NATIONS: FDI cannot be lost sight of, our focus is on fulfilling the call to announce the good news in every way to all Nations. (Mk.16:15; 2Ti.4:2)

VISION

  • BRIDE: Our internal/vertical relationship with the Bridegroom. Being the Bride speaks of our total devotion, surrender, pursuit, passion for the Bridegroom, and longing for His coming. This is what leads us to meditate on the Word, to worship, and to seek sanctification in the Spirit for the wedding feast. (Song of Solomon 4:9; Isaiah 62:5; John 3:29; Matthew 25:6)

  • BODY: The church is the Body, and the body works together. Service, talents, gifts, and ministries are integrated. Love for our neighbor is not just "those outside," it begins at home, loving the Church of Christ, our brothers and sisters in FAITH. We need to understand membership and our function in the Body, serving, supporting, and above all, maturing as "grown" children to manifest ourselves to the world. (Eph. 5:30; 1 Cor. 12:20; Rom. 12:4,5)

  • SON: We are begotten in Him to generate offspring; creation awaits us, therefore we need to have the characteristics of our Father. When we behave as the Bride and live in the Body, our lives are filled with the oil of His presence, and our manifestation is that of the Children of GOD. (Gal. 4:5; Rom. 8:19-23; Rom. 8:14,15)

MISSION

  • TO WIN: Winning In the sense of winning the empathy of others, not only by attracting them through the “productive” quality, but through the Christian lifestyle. Being serious, ethical, relevant in society and in all kindness towards our neighbor. (Act.2:47; Col.4:6)

  • TO WELCOME: When someone is attracted to our FAITH community, our next step is to awaken him/her to an understanding of their local and life purpose, of existence, is to reveal the calling and how to exercise it here. To welcome is to integrate into the Body, it is to give meaning, to make one feel an integrated and important part of the process.(Heb.10:24; 1Th.5:14)

  • TO TEACH: Everything has to be governed by the Word, by the knowledge of God and by experiences with the Spirit. Without His presence and without faithfulness to the Scriptures, we are not disciples of Christ, but of a human model, just parts of a religious club. (2Tim.2:15; 2Co.3:6)

Âncora 4
  • Work that results from faith: It is not activism, it is not doing for the sake of doing, it is a result of the action of the Spirit, of Grace that leads us to work for the Kingdom of God. (James 2:14-25)

  • EFFORT motivated by LOVE: Precisely because we know who called us, we will not do things haphazardly, but will always give our best, seeking to please the Lord of the Harvest. (Josh. 23:6; 1 Cor. 13:1)

  • Perseverance stemming from hope: Even in the most difficult moments, when we lack the gratitude of others, human help, and apparent results, we know why and for whom we are fighting and where our hope lies, and therefore we do not stop. (Heb. 10:38; Matt. 24:13; Luke 21:19; 1 Tim. 4:16)
