How do departments and ministries work at Burn?Through Integration, Zeal and Humility. INTEGRATION: Everything that is done internally at Burn goes through our vision of the BODY, so our action in the departments depends on the understanding that nobody is/does anything alone. We are members of each other with different characteristics and functions that complement each other. (Rom.12:4-8; 1Co.12:4-7; Jn.17:21). There are no separate ministries, but ministries focused on working interdependently to serve one another. In a simple way, one sees the other, seeks to understand qualities and deficiencies in order to have fullness. All work together for the greater GOOD. That is, it is a Cult for children, but not only the Children's Department is involved in this, the team of musicians, the men, the host, everyone thinks about how to serve better so that more and more children are reached and blessed. ZEAL and HUMILITY: All work is carried out with diligence and with respect for those involved. The values are clear within each leader who values them and transmits them by example to his team, in this model seen by the Apostle Paul in the Church of Thessalonica (work, effort, perseverance). Humility also means that no one thinks he owns the department, that he has the “captive chair” and that he limits new leaders or blocks the potential of those who have stood out. We are ready to consider others better than ourselves and do nothing out of partisanship or vainglory. (Rom.12:11; 2Th.3:9; Phil.2:3). Learn about our ministries and small groups.

What is the church's view of missions? Our ministry TRUE & ACTIVE has as its mission: MAKING DISCIPLES: We understand that we need to prepare workers for the Harvest, so our mission work begins with preparing the saints, teaching the Scriptures and tools and techniques that will strengthen them in the mission, with sharp swords, a well-polished shield of FAITH and supplying the overflowing spirit. (Matt.9:38; 2Ti.3:17). SUPPORT: The first families we look at and need to support are the families of local church members. It would be very hypocritical to help outsiders without first supporting the saints in their needs, but of course, we cannot close ourselves off and ignore those in need around us. There are three fronts on which we work: (Gal.6:10; Tit.3:14; Rev.7:9). Our practical actions:⦁ Evangelism: Urban and Transcultural Missions;⦁ Assistance: Homeless, Home for the Elderly, Children's Shelters, Basic Food Baskets;⦁ Professional Training, HR and Psychological support, training in financial management, marketing, business and entrepreneurship through BURN BUSINESS, CLINICA DAS EMOÇÕES and BURN UP.

About church doctrine?Bible above all! We do not place the local view above biblical exegesis, on the contrary, our local view and individual thoughts will always be submitted to the examination of the Word. Just as we demand that leaders be an example of seeking, in the same way we encourage our people to seek knowledge, not just through human knowledge, but through intimacy with the Lord, so that this knowledge may be deepened and lived in the experience of His glory. The more we know Him, the more we worship Him. (Jn.6:45; 1Co.4:6; Heb.4:12). Learn about our values, mission and vision.

What are clans? We know that growth is a gift and is linked to the fulfillment of our calling and mission, but it also brings with it new challenges and opportunities, and some little problems too. One of the questions that comes up is: How to keep the face of a small and welcoming church in a church that doesn't stop growing? The good way to maintain this is home cults, our Clans. They give us the possibility of close shepherding, accompanying and maintaining communion, understanding the vision in a clear, correct, direct and relaxed way. Each CLAN has its characteristic, respecting the individuality of each leader, since in different ways they stand out in the announced values. But in order not to disperse and "lose the hand", each leader needs to seek to be close to the pastors, to be guided, discipled and receive the essence of what God has poured out and directed to this people as a local church. Each clan cannot be a “little church” in itself, catering to the leader's tastes and characteristics, but an expansion of BURN's cults and language as a whole. (Acts.2:42-47; Col.4:15; Phm.1:2; Acts.12:12; Rom.16:5).
